Learning to
swim is a new and exciting adventure for most. For the past 30 years, Adventure
Sports Unlimited has taught over 20,000 children to swim in a positive, warm
environment. Instructors
strive to develop a trusting, special relationship with each child, encouraging
them in a gentle but firm manner to stretch their limits as abilities grow.
Their goal is to maintain high quality and individual accomplishment through
small group lessons.
Children are
grouped in classes by age (minimum 2½ years) and skill level, with a maximum of
4 children per class. The
pool is keep warm at 90°F, with an adjacent Jacuzzi for playtime before or after
lessons. There are restrooms, hot showers and plenty of deck space for parents
to sit and relax. Each session consists of eight ½ hour classes. Classes are twice a week for 4 weeks (MW or TTh) or once a week for 8 weeks (Sat,Sun).
