For the past 20
years, Karen have applied herself
to learning and then teaching the art, philosophy, and practice of two great
traditions: yoga & mindfulness. Each practice complements the other, and
is the heart and source of all her teaching.
Karen’s yoga classes are
designed to bring compassion to the body/mind while increasing strength and
flexibility and deepening awareness. Through consistent exploration, new insights are
discovered: from how we move, sit, and walk, to how we experience the world
through our senses, to how we understand the sacredness of life.
Her approach to
teaching is to share what she has
learned from her own practices and studies that have taught her to live life
more fully, deeply, and with more spaciousness.
