In 2008,
Elicia’s 40th birthday was coming up and instead of a big bash for herself, she
wanted to find a way to give to someone else. She had an idea about having
birthday parties for needy kids.
Elicia read an
article about a woman who started a non-profit called “Free Cakes for Kids” and
joined her organization for about a year. In January 2010, she started
“Birthday Cakes 4 Free” and now has numerous chapters across the USA, and looks
forward to many more!
