Summer Rhee-Pizano has had an
appreciation for the human body for as long as she can remember, drawing
anatomically correct figures since childhood. This interest in the human body
lead to a study and career in the medical fields of Physical Therapy and
Acupuncture. Working with the human form for almost two decades, painting
skeletons is really second nature to her!
Summer’s style gives a nod
to traditional Dia de los Muertos folk style, but with updated features, such as
adding local and personal interests in the subject matters. Always colorful and
whimsical, if it makes you smile, it has met it’s objective!
